Detailed capture information is available for completed captures or those that have errored out. Clicking a capture from the Completed or Errors list of captures opens the media details page, which provides information and a variety of functionality. Specifically, you can open the Activity tab in the bottom section of the page to see capture generation, processing, and publishing of information, which can be useful if there is a problem with users viewing the video.
To view detailed capture data
- From the Captures page, find the capture you want.
- Click on the capture row to open the Media Details page, as shown below.
- Click History as identified in the figure above.
Detailed information on the activity surrounding this media is displayed, as shown below.
The History tab lists the events with this media and the times they occurred.
The figure below shows the activity for a capture that was completed and published. For an Errored capture, the History tab may show that processing or other post-capture steps failed if the capture exists. If the capture did not happen for some reason (e.g., the device was offline), you will not get a Media Details page, as no media is available.
