Ongoing Labs Projects
The following projects are not new this quarter, but are still seeking customer participants.
Pilot Projects
What are “Pilot,” “Alpha,” and “Beta?”
We are seeking customer participants to try out the following Pilot projects. Contact your CSM if you’re interested in trying one or more of them out.
All: Public Inkdoc URL Pilot
Have you ever wanted to make an Inkdoc available to someone outside of the Inkling platform? Maybe you have vendors who don’t have Inkling logins or you would like to create content tied to a QR code or URL that anyone can see? We have created a way for you to generate a public version of an Inkdoc or an Inkdoc page. Ask your CSM to try it out today.
Mobile: “Ask Inkling” Generative AI Pilot
We have created a supplement to Inkling Library in-content search, called “Ask Inkling.” “Ask Inkling” enables users to ask a question in a chat-like format and receive responses based on the context of the Inkling content they have access to view. With “Ask Inkling,” you can:
- Use the “Ask Inkling” AI-powered search.
- Generate document summaries.
- Generate Frequently Asked Questions.
Mobile: Fully Immersive Augmented Reality (AR) Pilot
Through immersive augmented reality, learners can view a model in their space and interact with it in-depth. These immersive experiences enables users to explore virtual environments, simulate real-world scenarios, and actively participate in their own learning, resulting in more effective and enjoyable learning. To be eligible, your organization must be willing to use the Inkling white-labeled mobile app.
Mobile: Location-based Access Pilot
We have created the ability to provide or block access to company content based on a user's geographical location. As end users enter location or arrive at a site, they will be able to browse the library and access learning resources via Inkling native mobile app.
Alpha Projects
What are “Pilot,” “Alpha,” and “Beta?”
We are seeking customer participants to try out the following Alpha project. Contact your CSM if you’re interested in trying it out.
Reader: Better PDF Reader Print
We released a print upgrade that allows end users to print either an entire Inkdoc or one Inkdoc page from the Inkling Reader. The printed content should look closer to the digital version than the previous printed version.
Beta Projects
What are “Pilot,” “Alpha,” and “Beta?”
We are seeking customer participants to try out the following Beta project. Contact your CSM if you’re interested in trying one out.
Learning Pathways: Assessment Gating & Reporting
- Course authors can gate steps based on a learner’s assessment results. Learners can only complete the step after passing an assessment, ensuring they’re prepared for what’s next.
- Managers and supervisors can view learners’ assessment scores in field reporting, and intervene if learners need help passing an assessment.
