New and Improved!
Media Transcripts can now be Automatically Applied as Closed Captions
The transcripts created through EchoVideo’s transcription providers can now be automatically applied as the closed captioning track for video/audio media. All Administrators have to do is turn the feature on and set an accuracy confidence threshold. After that, all transcripts received that meet or exceed the set level automatically become closed captions. The captions are ready to use by viewers to help enhance and reinforce the learning experience.
For more information, see Automatically Apply Transcripts as Closed Captions for Media.
Edit Media and Edit Transcripts Permissions Now Available for Collections
Collections can now confer editing permissions to collection members. This allows collection managers to delegate these tasks, but within a closed and controlled group of other users. The addition of the editing capabilities includes allowing users to create interactive media out of the video or audio media in the collection.
For more information, see Managing Collection Member Rights and Permissions
Rest API Integration for D2L/Brightspace
Our Rest API integration, which allows for both LMS course capture scheduling AND access to our Consolidated Analytics feature is now available for use with D2L Brightspace. Easily create, link, and schedule lecture recordings for your Brightspace courses. Ease the workload of instructors by allowing them to see the student viewing and polling data for all of their Brightspace course media in one, easy-to-access location.
For more information, see Adding a REST API Integration between EchoVideo and Brightspace.
