You can easily create your question lists in Word and import them into PointSolutions Desktop. Once imported, they can be used in PowerPoint Polling, Anywhere Polling, and Self-Paced Polling.
Format the Word Document
- Open the document with your multiple choice questions in Microsoft Word.
The file must be saved as a .doc, .docx, or .docm.
- Remove all question numbers from the questions
- Remove all bullets from the answer choices.
- Format all questions as Heading 1.
- Format all answers as Heading 2.
Turn on the Show / Hide option in Word to detect any unnecessary spacing. Delete all extra spaces to ensure a successful import.
- Save and close the document.
Import the Word Document into PointSolutions Desktop
- Open PointSolutions Desktop and sign in to your account.
- Select the Content tab.
- Create a new Question List.
- Optionally, open an existing Question List.
- Click the Question dropdown and select Import.

The File Explorer opens.
- Browse to the saved Word document and click Open.
- Select / deselect the questions to import.
They are all selected by default.
- Optionally click Select All / Deselect All to select or deselect all of the questions.
The questions appear in the Question List Editor.
- Click Import.
The questions are added to your Question List.
- Click Save and Close.
