NOTICE: EXAMVIEW END-OF-LIFE ANNOUNCEMENT
As of June 30, 2024, ExamView will officially reach its end of life.
Please be advised that after ExamView’s end-of-life date of June 30th, 2024, we will no longer be providing updates, security patches, or technical support for any version of ExamView. Our obligations to maintain or support ExamView will cease as of this date. Continued use of ExamView post end-of-life may expose you to increased security vulnerabilities, compatibility issues, and potentially reduced functionality. You must first create and save a test in ExamView Test Generator before publishing to the ExamView Online Testing Service. Any changes you make to the test AFTER publishing will require you to publish the test again.
- Open ExamView Test Generator.
- Click Open an existing test.
- From the available tests, select the test you would like to open and click Open.
- Click File from the menu at the top.
- Choose Publish To and click ExamView Online Testing Service, as shown in the figure below.
- Enter a name for the test and click Next.
- Click Select File to choose a class file to allow access to the students who are permitted to take the online test. Optionally, you can choose to let students take the online test multiple times.
- Create a password that the learners will use to access the online test. Indicate if you want the password to be used for all students or used only for students with no assigned password. Click Next.
- Specify when students may access the online test.
- Determine in what order you would like the questions presented. Click Next.
- Review the information provided in the summary information window. If no changes are necessary, click Publish, as shown in the figure below.
- Click OK in the confirmation window.
Your online test has been published and is ready for your learners.
You will receive an email confirmation that includes your ExamView Online Test ID, password, and instructions for accessing the online test.
- Click Save before exiting the ExamView Test Generator, as shown in the figure below.
