You can edit your imported ExamView content directly in PointSolutions.
Working within a Question List
Edit Existing Questions and / or Answers
- Open PointSolutions and sign into your account.
- Select the Content tab.
- Select a Question List.
- Click Edit Question List to view the question list.
- Select a question.
- Click the Pencil icon to the right of the question, as shown in the figure below.
The HTML Editor opens.
- Select the question or answer text and use the HTML Editor toolbar to edit the question or answer text.
Click the left or right arrows at the bottom of the window to navigate to another question for editing, as shown in the figure below.
- Repeat steps the above steps for the remaining questions you want to edit.
- Click Save to save your edits.
- Click Close to return to the question list.
Rearrange Questions
- Open PointSolutions and sign into your account.
- Select the Content tab.
- Select a Question List.
- Click Edit Question List to view the question list.
- To rearrange the order of the questions, click the three vertical lines to the left of the question number and drag the question to the new location, as shown in the figure below.
- Click Save to save your edits.
Add a Question
- Open PointSolutions and sign into your account.
- Select the Content tab.
- Select a Question List.
- Click Edit Question List to view the question list.
- Click the Question icon drop-down on the Question List Editor toolbar.
- Select Add.
The new question is placed as question 2.
- Select the question type from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the Pencil icon to edit the question.
- Enter the question and answer text. Use the HTML Editor toolbar to enhance the question or answer text.
Delete a Question
- Open PointSolutions and sign into your account.
- Select the Content tab.
- Select a Question List.
- Click Edit Question List to view the question list.
- Select the question you want to delete from the question list.
- Click the Question icon drop-down on the Question List Editor toolbar.
- Select Delete.
The question is removed from your question list.
You can also use the Delete key on your keyboard.
Duplicate a Question
- Open PointSolutions and sign into your account.
- Select the Content tab.
- Select a Question List.
- Click Edit Question List to view the question list.
- Select the question you want to duplicate in your question list.
- Click the Question icon drop-down on the Question List Editor toolbar.
- Select Duplicate. The selected question is added to your question list.
- Click the Pencil icon to the right of the question to edit the question. The HTML Editor opens.
- Select the question or answer text and enter the new text. Use the HTML Editor toolbar to enhance the question or answer text.
Delete a Question List
- Open PointSolutions and sign into your account.
- Select the Content tab.
- Select a Question List.
- Click the Content drop-down menu and select Delete.
- A confirmation window is displayed.
- Click Delete.
- Alternatively, select a content item and press the Delete key on the keyboard or right-click to delete.
Deleting a question list from PointSolutions also deletes the list from its default location and moves it to the Recycle Bin.
Save and Close Your Question List
When you have finished working on your question list, click Save and Close, as shown in the figure below.
The question list closes and your Content tab is displayed.
