Admins are able to change the names of user roles in their system to better align with positions in their organization or to improve clarity. Custom labels can be created for all existing user roles within the EchoVideo platform.
To edit these user roles
- Log into EchoVideo as an Institution-level administrator.
- Click the Settings icon and select Institution Settings.
General settings appears and Basic Info is selected by default.
- Click Roles and Permissions.
- From the middle panel, select Custom Labels, as shown in the figure below.
- Type the new label into the box for the role that you want to change.
- Click the toggle of the label being customized and click Save.
The role's label will not be changed until the toggle is enable AND the Save button is clicked.
- Refresh the page to see the customized user role.
