Question lists and PowerPoint presentations can be exported from PointSolutions. Exporting as a question list (.tpqx) content creates a copy of the file in the specified location. The file is not removed from its current location. Exporting as a rich text file (.rtf) creates an editable file of the question list. Only question lists can be export as .rtf.

Export as a Question List

Question lists and PowerPoint presentations can be exported using the Question List option.

1. Open PointSolutions and sign in to your account.
2. Select the Content tab.
3. Click the Content drop-down menu and select Export.
4. Choose Question List (.tpqx).
   

   The Export Content Files window is displayed.

   
5. Check the content to be exported, as shown in the figure above.
   

   If desired, select the Export as Read-only check box. This option, when checked, prevents shared users from editing question lists.

6. To export all content from PointSolutions, click Select All.
   

   When exporting content, it is important to remember that folder structure is exported as well. For example, a folder named Practice contains three question lists. If a question list from Practice is exported, a folder Practice is created and the exported question list will be inside the folder.

7. Click the 3 dots button and and navigate to the desired location.
8. Click OK.
9. Click Save.
   

   A copy of the file is saved to the location specified. 

Export as a Rich Text File

Question lists can be exported using the Rich Text File option.

1. Open PointSolutions and sign in to your account.
2. Select the Content tab.
3. Choose a question list. 
4. Click the Content drop-down menu and select Export.
5. Choose Rich Text Format (.rtf).
   

   The Save As window is displayed with PointSolutions default file location selected.

   
6. Choose where to save the .rtf file if somewhere other than the default location. 
7. Enter a file name or leave the name as is.
8. Click Save.
9. Click OK.
   

   The file is saved to the location specified.
