The Media option allows you to customize how images, audio, and video work in your Theme.
To access these features, simply select Media from the top menu:
To utilize the features, you need to select what type of element you are updating. By default, the first option is Images
For Images, you have the option to customize appearance for the following:
Overlay: If you would like a color overlay over your image, select the box next to Overlay
This will open up the color picker. Select the color and grade you wish then click away from the color picker to retain the change.
Border: If you like to add a border to your image, select the box next to Border.
This will open the color picker. Select the color and grade you wish to use then click away from color picker to retain the change. Next, select border thickness by entering numeric value between 1 and 4. You will see how your changes will display in the sample image.
Dropshadow--Enable this option if you would like to use the dropshadow effect. This is a visual effect to give the impression that the image is raised above objects behind it.
Audio:
The second Media option is Audio. To select options to customize, click on the dropdown and select Audio.
For Audio, you have the option to customize the appearance of the following:
Player Bar--Background and Scrubber (volume level bar, audio progress bar)
Buttons--Default and Hover/Active
To modify any of these options, simply select the box next to the feature. This will open the color picker. Select the color and grade you wish to use then click away from color picker to retain the change.
You can view your changes in the sample audio file.
Video:
The final Media option is Video. To select options to customize, click on the dropdown and select Video:
You will see that the Appearance options are the same for Video as Audio. To update, follow the instructions above (under Audio).
