Using RingCentral Meetings – Mac (For Screen Shares)
When first using RingCentral Meetings on macOS, you may need to configure some settings in the System Preferences for it to work correctly. These changes will allow you to share your screen with the Turning Support Agent.
Start by downloading RingCentral Meetings for macOS here.
Next, click on the downloaded file. It will be named RCMeetingsClientSetup.pkg. Proceed through the installer and press Close when finished. You may be required to enter your Mac Password during installation.
Once installed, open RingCentral Meetings. If you are attempting to join a meeting, be sure to accept any prompts that you receive, like screen recording.
If you are unable to share your screen or use your microphone in a meeting, open your System Preferences on your Mac. Refer to the image below to see how to access the System Preferences.

Once there, go to Security & Privacy.
In the Security & Privacy window, click the Privacy tab. Next, click the Lock icon at the bottom-left of the window and enter your Mac Password.
The left side of this window shows the categories that RingCentral Meetings needs access to. The categories that it can access are the following:
After following this guide, you will be ready to use RingCentral Meetings with Turning Support. You will now be able to share your screen with the agent and grant keyboard and mouse control if you would like.

- Camera (Allows use of your webcam.)
- Microphone (Allows use of your Mac’s microphone.)
- Accessibility (Allows you to grant keyboard and mouse control.)
- Full Disk Access (Not required for Turning Support meetings.)
- Files and Folders (Not required for Turning Support meetings.)
- Screen Recording (Allows you to share your screen. This is most important.)
You do not need to grant access to all of these, but to work with Turning Support, you will need to grant access to Microphone, Screen Recording, and Accessibility.
To allow access, click the category on the left, then check the box next to RingCentral Meetings for each different category.
