Inserting Symbols Into an Equation
- Position the cursor at the location in the equation where you want to insert the symbol.
- Click the desired symbol on the symbol toolbar.
- Select the appropriate symbol from the menu.
TIPOnce a symbol is in the equation, it may be easier for you to highlight the particular symbol, copy it, and then paste it at another location. Also, refer to the keyboard shortcuts for ways to insert operator symbols directly using the keyboard.
