EchoVideo provides integration with a variety of Learning Management System (LMS) products using the Learning Tool Interoperability or "LTI" standard. LTI is a method for providing authentication information and communication links between two learning tools. This allows EchoVideo to act as a content provider and pass captures and other items to the LMS, which is the content consumer.
EchoVideo has the following LMS products pre-selectable, however you can integrate with any LMS product via LTI:
If you are using a different LMS, you can select Other and enter the name of your LMS to identify it in the Configurations page. EchoVideo auto-generates a Key, Secret and Host URL to use in the LTI tool configuration on the LMS
Configuring LTI communication between EchoVideo and your LMS involves identifying EchoVideo as an LTI Tool in the LMS, then copying the shared key, shared secret, and URL information between the systems.
BEST PRACTICE: Selecting and copying the values between EchoVideo and the LMS can be difficult, and can be prone to selection errors. To select the full value of an LMS field, do the following:
1) Use your mouse to select a portion of the field values.
2) Press Ctrl+A / Command+A to "select all" of the field.
3) Press Ctrl+C / Command + C to copy the selected value.
4) Paste the value into the corresponding field in the LMS LTI External Tool configuration.

The LMS profile appears on the LMS configurations page, as shown in the figure below. The LMS fields are automatically populated with the data generated by EchoVideo. This is the information you will copy into your LMS to create the EchoVideo External Tool linked to through the LMS courses and sections.
What is that Course ID Field? If you are directly linking LMS courses / sections to EchoVideo sections, you can use the Course ID Field value here to identify the FIELD Name in the LTI Payload that will contain the LMS course / section value. The value in the identified field can be used as the "External System ID" applied to the EchoVideo Section to directly link the two without Instructor intervention. See Linking LMS Courses with EchoVideo Sections via the API for more details.
The default value is the one typically used to contain the LMS course / section identifier, however, you can change this to any field name you like.
Once you make a change, click Save, located under the LMS Name in the profile.
Deleting LMS Profile Configurations
If you no longer need an LMS profile, you can delete it.
IMPORTANT If you delete the LMS configuration then re-enable it, the field values WILL BE DIFFERENT. You will have to edit the LTI Tool link in the LMS to use the re-generated values.
