The look and feel of the Player is changing in December with the Q4 release. Upcoming changes are identified in this article by providing screenshots labeled "Old UI" and "New UI".
If you log into EchoVideo directly, you access your courses from the Courses page. Click Courses from the top menu bar.
Then click the Course tile for the course you want. This opens the class list.
If you enter EchoVideo through an LMS / VLE (i.e., Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle, Brightspace, Sakai), you most likely follow a link from the LMS / VLE that puts you onto the Class List for the course. In fact, we recommend students ONLY access their courses through the LMS/VLE unless told to do otherwise.
Clicking on a class row in the list opens the classroom for you to view and interact with the media published there.
Clicking on a class media icon opens the additional media option menu.
The classroom viewer displays whatever media is published there (video, a presentation, or both).
- Click Play (bottom left) to play the video.
- If there is a presentation, click on the presentation tile to move it to the primary (left) position.
- Use the Right/Left arrows that appear when you hover over the presentation to page through it.

The toolbar across the top contains icons for additional in-classroom functionality. These are described in detail in Using Classroom Tools. Different icons may appear depending on whether you are a student or an instructor. Go ahead and click on them! Do not worry, you will not break anything.
The buttons at the bottom, on the right side of the playbar also help control classroom playback of the media, including volume, quality and speed control, and layout of the materials if there is more than one visual item in the classroom.
To EXIT the classroom and return to the class list, click the Course name located to the right of the classroom toolbar, as identified in the below figure.

Once back on the class list, use the top menu options shown below to navigate to your Library, the Courses page, or the Collections page as needed. Or return to your LMS / VLE to enter a different course if applicable.
