The mobile app allows you to post or respond to a question or discussion point while viewing the classroom.
Tap the classroom menu then select Questions from the options (shown in the below figure) to open the Q&A/Discussions page for the class.
The Questions page lists any questions or responses already posts to the class. If there aren't any yet, the page will be blank.
Adding a question or discussion post
With the Questions page open, tap the green plus sign to add a question or discussion post to the class.
In the New Question box that appears, tap inside the text box and begin typing your entry.
When finished, tap Post Question. You may use the Post Anonymously slider to hide your name on this post from other students (instructors will always see who posted any question or response).
Once entered, your question appears along with any other questions posted to the class.
Responding to a question or discussion post
From the Question list, tap a question to see any responses already posted for it.
While viewing the question, tap the green plus sign to add a response.
In the same way as questions are posted, type your response and then tap Post Response. Use the Post Anonymously slider if desired.
Editing or deleting a question
To edit any question or response you entered (or you are an instructor and want to delete a student's entry), open the Questions list using the classroom menu described at the top of this page.
Tap on the question you want to edit. Click the Edit (pencil) or Delete (trash can) icon to edit or delete the question as appropriate. These icons appear in the Responses title bar for the selected question.
Note that if you delete the question, all responses are also deleted.
Editing or deleting a response
To edit any question or response you entered (or you are an instructor and want to delete a student's entry), open the Questions list using the classroom menu described at the top of this page. Then tap on the Question to show the responses.
Tap on the response you want to edit/delete. Select Edit or Delete as appropriate.
